Finding the location of the former Shinnecock Lighthouse:

The building corner shown in the far right is part of the Shinnecock Coast Guard Station boat house. The small building just to the right of both the original and skeletal light towers is the oil house.

The black and white photo to the left is a view of the Shinnecock Bay Lighthouse starting to fall as it was knocked down by the Coast Guard on December 23, 1948.
